What is a 146 ?

I was watching CSI: Las Vegas. The guy got called to a 146. What is that? Murder is a 187.

    CAPC 146 is Impersonating a Police Officer; so as Trooper mentioned, it was probably just broadcast for dramatic effect.

    Murder is a 187 in California. They are in Nevada, so I would guess a 146 is murder.

    I'm guessing this is for dramatic purposes only, Chapter 146 of Nevada State Law is Probate.
