Demi-permanent on dry relaxed and breaking hair!?

Recently I thought about putting a demi-permanent color in my hair. Now I have dry hair by default but I moisturize the heck out of it so it's fairly moist. But my hair is relaxed and it's breaking soily because I don't take care of it; i comb and brush it 100+ times a day with a thin brush/comb.

So should I dye it?

semi-permanents still chemically process your hair it's just not as harsh a process as regular hair dye. because it dies the outside of the hair shaft not the inside.

    it's completely up to you.

you might want to ask your hair stylist what she thinks you should do. maybe she can offer you a better moisturizer. or maybe you just need to trim up your broken hair.

you don't need to brush your hair so often, once or twice a day is decent. if you brush too much it can actually cause breakage. use a wide tooth comb instead of a small comb too. make sure you start at the bottom of your hair and work your way up so you don't break any tangles.

No you'll risk making your hair even more damaged and maybe fall out. Get a trim. And contrary to belief brushing your hair 100 strokes a night damages your hair.
