So I just bought an 02 ponatic grand prix for 2800 and i thought it only had 136,000 miles on it, after I bought it and drove home I found out that it's actually 1360,000 miles on it. I don't know what to do because the sale was final :(

I need to change out my brake pads and when I told the guy at advanced auto that I need rear brake pads I didn't pay attention to the box and he gave me brake shoes. Am I still able to use shoes instead of pads on my hyundai elentra?

I heard this song on the radio (101.1 The beat Jamz, Nashville TN), a couple of months ago and I really want to find it. The only thing is I don't know the name of the song, the artist, or any of the lyrics. I do know it's something about wanting to make love. Sorry I can't be of much help! But I do know it came on the radio a few times during the summer if that helps and it sounds like it's reggae music.

I was driving my used car and all of the sudden my car jerked really hard and then my check engine light came on. Whenever I stop at a light or stop sign it seems like my car struggles a bit when I press on the gas after I have come to a complete stop.

I took my car to firestone and they said it has something to do with the transmission but they aren't sure. So I had a few of my other girl friends try to help me find where the transmission fluid is located just to see if I need to add/change the fluid but we are unable to locate it.

I'm an african-american with really thick hair, and I know when I let other people straighten my hair (with a flat iron), it looks REALLY nice and it flows, bounces, and all that other good stuff.

When I try to flat iron my hair it looks horrible, it's still as thick as it was when I started and it doesn't flow, instead it remains stiff.

So what can I do to get my hair to look like I just got it done by a professional?

Lately I've been craving sour/green apple scented body wash, and I can't find any. I can only find it as a shampoo and conditioner and I was wondering if I used the shampoo if it would be to harsh for my skin

The back of my head I have a flat spot (like it doesn't grow as fast or it's breaking )from where I've slept and laid on it so much.

I was wondering if any of you people had any advice I could use to get all my hair to grow at about the same rate, where I wouldn't an intense short lengthened amount of hair in the back (other than someone saying "stop laying on it")

Also just to help:

My hair is about 6 inches, but the spot in the back is about 2 inches at most.

Lately i have been feeling quitly. I couple of months ago I slept with a guy while he had a girlfriend (and still does), but now i'm feeling really bad about what we did and I want to tell his gf because in a sense she has a right to know, but then again he said if i do tell her he'll sue me for slander and that he has lawyer friends that can make it happen.

so what do i do? if i don't tell the guilt will get me and if i do he'll attempt to sue me for thousands of dollars that i don't have.

Well I got a relaxer in my hair and my hair is naturally dry. So therefor my hair is even dryer and brittle now. But the thing is I run and exercise to the point where i'm dripping in sweat and I was told sweat is harsh on your hair follices and I was wondering what i could do to "relieve" the effects of sweat on my dry hair without having to watch it EVERYTIME after i excercise.

There is a movie that was made in the 90s about this white man who was cursed or something like that, and whenever he would "hear" music he would "dance to life" and lead people to a treasure or something. what is the name of that movie?

The other day I got my hair relaxed at a salon but it burnt and she didn't do it right (she scratched the relaxer out when she was washing my hair), but anyway, my scalp is either burnt or DRY and I was hoping you guys knew a way to moisten my scalp. Just in case if my hair starts to fall out, is there a way I can stimulate my hair to (re)grow?

I would ask the salon woman but she's foreign and doesn't really understand me and I plan on switiching to someone who can speak and understand, but I would still like to know if possible.

I have some favorite shirts that I loved to wear but I can't wear them anymore because my deodrant has seeped through the fabric and stained them and i can't really wash them out, but i was wondering if there was any way I can get the stains out so i can wear my once loved black and dark blue shirts?

I'm not sure on how I would deep condition; do I just put in a leave in conditioner and that's it or do I have to do more than that?

I was told that when we go to sleep we should use a satin pillow to reduce hair breakage. Well I have a nylon pillow that feels like slipper plastic and I was wondering if that was an okay subsitute for a satin pillow casing.

Recently I thought about putting a demi-permanent color in my hair. Now I have dry hair by default but I moisturize the heck out of it so it's fairly moist. But my hair is relaxed and it's breaking soily because I don't take care of it; i comb and brush it 100+ times a day with a thin brush/comb.

So should I dye it?

My boyfriend has gross ingrown hairs on his neck and he says that he's had it since the first time he shaved (at 13), but they wont go away. What can I tell him so he can get it removed because it's bothering me something awful!

Lately I've been having a problem with my teeth (my back ones). It seems whenever something cool or cold comes into contact with it, it aches. Such as when I smile and cool air touches it, use mouthwash, or even brush my teeth it hurts.

I was wondering what could probably cause that to happen. Could it be from me using the whitestrips and teeth whitening products, excessive and hard brushing, or could a cavity have formed?
