Shampoo as body wash?
Lately I've been craving sour/green apple scented body wash, and I can't find any. I can only find it as a shampoo and conditioner and I was wondering if I used the shampoo if it would be to harsh for my skin
and the shampoo and conditoner brand is Suave

the ingredients are not far apart from each other, as long as you rinse well you should be fine.

You sure can use it! shampoo is PH balanced different than other soaps meant for other parts of the body - but if it's just drugstore brand and you normally use a body wash also from the drug store then you won't notice a difference...upi ,ight even like how it leaves your skin feeling.. I've used shampoo as body wash for the same reason (I found a lime coconut shampoo that smelled AWESOME) .I always use hair conditioner in the show to shave my legs! You just wouldn't want to use normal body wash as shampoo (it would be to harsh for hair and might leave a residue)!!!!

What brand of shampoo? It shouldn't hurt anything. Normally shampoo runs down onto your skin anyway. I would wash with regular soap first and then rub some shampoo on your skin and rinse it, because shampoo isn't made to clean your skin.

This is actually a common practice among people because shampoo is cheaper. The biggest difference is the type of moisturizer, which really isn't much of a difference at all. Use the shampoo!

I'd say it depends on how sensitive your skin is. I'm really sensitive to any product containing SLS (sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate), so using a regular shampoo on my skin would cause me to break out in an itchy rash. I can't even use regular shampoo on my hair. I have to use natural, SLS free shampoos, body washes, soaps, and toothpaste. If you don't have this problem, go ahead and try it out.

it should be fine,
i have used shampoo before when i have had no body wash left and my skin has been perfectly fine afterwards.
you could try looking in the alberto bslam range- they have recently brought out a new range of shower washes and i think this range has a green apple wash in it.

Shampoo is usually gentle on the skin (after all, the company doesn't want it to easily irritate the scalp). I've actually done this before...haha.

yeah it's fine, often it works better than body wash and should put more of your body's natural oils for the skin back which will keep it soft :) xx
