Websites for weight loss support and tips, need to lose 7 1/2 st?

Does anyone know of any websites that offer good tips or support for people who are trying/losing a lot of weight.

I have got off to a fairly good start but am really finding it hard.

I am eating sensibly and exercising.

All the websites and forums I come across are mostly full of people who aren't actually over weight or only have a few lbs to lose.

It would be good to talk to or read stories from people who have more to lose.

And I would appreciate it if anyone who feels like being nasty would keep their comments to themselves

    Hello,

I happen to be in your situation, I have to lose about 10-12 lbs. I am 49 years young and believe me it gets harder as you get older. Anyway, I happen to go to msn health page and saw an article that says you can lose up to 10 pds in 5 weeks by following this weight loss plan. It has a lot to do with just walking/running on the treadmill. Check it out. Also you may want to go to Prevention website. They have lots of articles on exercise to firm, that you do in your home. Good luck and Happy New Year!

Have your normal three meals a day and when you feel yourself getting hungry drink water or chew ice. If

your normal three meals a day is quite a bit half it or take 2-3 bites our of each food on your plate unless it's fruit the just have like a hand full. No snacks. Try this for about 2-4 weeks and you might ser your weight drop. I honestly think your at a good weight.

I'm afraid I don't, but I do know weightwatchers.co.uk are offering the first week free online. Sorry I can't be of more help! Good Luck though, you are very determined! I work in a sports club and get free m'ship but I'm too scared to go to the gym unless i'm working as I know how clumsy I am. The whole idea of getting fit infront of other people seems a bit daunting! Good Luck!

Like rather than eating your food really quickly and savour each mouthful, this should help you lose weight as you may notice when you are full quicker therefore meaning you eat less. Hope this helps :)
