a drop below my wrist, under the skin I have a pencil tip sized bump?

what could it be? a bit pointy, no real pain and yes, I will go to a DR.

    a cyst, a bony calcification, a cartilage calcification, etc. I have one on my middle finger. They say it is extra cartilage but mine hurts.

    sounds like you have a ganglion cyst. unfortunately, if you smash it, it will probably come back later. you could go to a doctor and get it removed though.
