If you have had covid, how was that like for you? ?
I tested positive today with a rapid test . I went into for some allergy concerns. Runny nose , stuffy, congested, sneezing . I noticed I didn’t have a smell but I thought that was just part of the stuffy nose and some minor aches. I’m also 13 weeks pregnant so a lot those symptoms mask over. I’m not sure how far I am but I’m still going to self quarantine for 2 weeks hoping it will not get any worse . My worst fear is not being able to breathe or symptoms getting bad .I’m hoping this is as bad as it gets. How did covid -19 affect you? Was it easy ? Was it like the Flu? Did you even know you had it ?

I suspect I had it but I didn’t get tested because I thought I was safe since I got the vaccine shot 9 days earlier.
I lost my sense of smell and taste. I keep smelling petroleum. When I was in the shower, my soap gel smells like gasoline. I still haven’t gotten all my smell back. I can smell something if it’s close.
Fatigue. Tried taking a shower but I couldn’t stand up to finish the shower so I had to lie down in the stall to regain my strength before I could finish.
Fever that came and went. I used two thermometers to confirm. It was weird. I might get a 103° F reading. Then a few hours later, it was down to 97, which is normal for me.
I don’t think it was the flu because I’m more likely to catch covid than the flu. The flu rate dropped significantly because most people wore masks and flu isn’t as contagious as covid.
