When some thing creates something else, it presupposes that there is a secession of events, or time. But God is in the present , He has no past or future. He is timeless. All is present to Him or He would be limited by time. But He is unlimited. God is uncreated. He is the existence without which nothing else would exist.

There are 2 theories.
1. No beginning theory. Provable by logic.
Premise (P)1: All forms of energy--electrical, nuclear, etc--has unknown beginning, they have been existing eversince.
P2: God is spirit--not flesh and blood; and spirit is energy according to Gen 1:1
Conclusion: Therefore, just like energy the beginning of God is unknown.
2. Evolution of God theory. In the beginning--before time and space even began--all the energies /forces were collected together and sythesized into a mass of energy. This mass of all kinds of energy slowly changed--that is EVOLVED--until in acquired intelligence and consciousness. "It" evolved into a "he". He--having a body made of all sorts of energy and forces--decided to CREATE all kinds of objects both those seen and unseen. He became the Supreme Creator, called God.
That is why the Bible is correct in saying that God was not created--because he EVOLVED into Himself. All others he created because of his enormous source of energy and intelligence.
