Installing Ubuntu into slave Hardrive?
Ok, here's the deal:
I have the Ubuntu Linux as a CD I'm am able to run it as a test. However, I have a slave hardrive installed in my computer. I want Linux to install there but it doesn't show up in the installation. It only shows the Master Drive.
I don't want to partition my main drive again.
My windows can see my slave hardrive perfectly It's Ubuntu Linux which can't.
I try to do the installation while it's on live disk

Are you sure that the jumper is set to "Slave" on the second hard drive?
If so, then use Windows to format the second drive as FAT32. If Windows can't see the second drive, check your wiring. If the wiring is OK, then your second drive may be defective.
Then, after formatting, Ubuntu should see it as "hdd1".
