I'm still receiving a newsletter that I keep trying to unsubscribe to...?
I have in the past received a sales newsletter which I hadn't requested. I've tried several times to unsubscribe (by clicking the unsubscribe link) and still continue to receive these nuisance emails. I've also personally emailed the company to tell them to remove me from the mailing list but have had no response and instead have received YET another newsletter. Is there some kind of organisation (in the UK) I can report this company to?
Thanks in advance! :)

Your biggest hurdle is that the company in question is unlikely to be UK-based, which leaves the UK regulator the Information Commissioner unable to do a lot.
If it is a UK organisation, they can do quite a bit - look through some of the links on this page:
http://www.ico.gov.uk/Home/for_the_public/topic_sp...
For guidance on if you can report the company to the Information Commissioner or not.
Beyond that, there's a few things that can be done:
- If you use web-based email like Hotmail or Yahoo, click the 'This is Spam' or similar button which should catch it each time it arrives. The more users that do this, the more likely the spammer will be blocked entirely.
- If you use Outlook or Outlook express there is a Junk Senders List. Right-click on the email and click 'add to Junk Senders list', if it's the first time you've done this, you'll be guided through a quick wizard to set-up a place for your junk mail.
- If you use a Mac and their Mail program, you can bounce the email as if your address doesn't exist.
Overall, one of the best things to do with sales spam, especially if you haven't requested it, is to report it using the tools above and delete it. Responding in any way just confirms your email address is 'live' and more will be sent.

If thıs company is well known, usually subscription is automated.
But other spam e-mails use this system just to make sure you get their email. Once you send them an email like for example unsucribe@spam.com, they figured you received the mail and simply they will keep sending.
You may report this company through NPOs such as , the trade organizations or consumer rights protection org.
Good luck!

Don't bother. By responding, it tells them that you are receiving the n/l, which is their intent. With any mail program/server, even Outlook Express in Windows, you can create a "rule" that says "any mail from abcdef.uk, for example, should be deleted". Voila... you'll never get them again. In Yahoo mail, your rule says "move to trash". etc.

If you are using a public site (like Yahoo, Gmail) we can set filters to filter mails and save them in different folders. Instead you can throw them to Trash.
