Hi there, i noticed that you added me to your network so i thought I might try and answer your question...

Do what someone else said and try eating alot of "brain food"... things like fish, berries....also, try writing things down, I find this helped me alot with my studies.... sometimes things dont sink in until you write it down, read it a few times, and find ways to connect the questions and answers in your mind.

another thing, try not to be so hard on yourself... you have come this far with your dental studies.... you seem intelligent enough to go really well in your exams...

Good luck and all the best

If you are in school then get more practical experience so that it becomes an automatic reaction without having to think, Don`t over study as I find that confuses me at times. Trust your self and remember that he doc on the other side of the table was where you are at one time too. Tell them you are nervous. They are use to people takling exams, the orals are always nerve racking no matter what. Good luck.

(1)Try eating beats and other healing foods like blueberries, 60% min cocao dark chocolate, coconut, almonds, cucumbers and avocados. (2) Stay away from cell phones since it`s proven to disturb the brain. (3) Write everything down on paper (it seems as we write the brain becomes more aware and much easier to remember, will also help you with your spelling.(4) You seem to be afraid of this Doctor so after you have written down the info, take a break from studing and look in the mirror ask and answer the questions, it will register and you will end up comfortable talking to him as you excerzise public speaking and gain self confidence. Good Luck

You could try reading a book on memory techniques. I got halfway through one when I was about 12, and I STILL can remember the random list of items I practiced memorizing! (Over 10 years later...)!

i don't think the problem is your brain, i think you need to practice oral exams with a collegue, just make up some questions or use the ones in your books and practice cuz it sounds more like the fear of performing in front of the doc is making you forget.

Take advantage of your brains wiring. Link facts to a certain word, a word of your choosing. Then when test time comes you can think of this word and BAM! you know all the facts.
