Can jeans be shrunk?

I've just lost 40 pounds, but have no money to buy more clothes.

How can i shrink my jeans?

    Firstly welldone and secondly yes it is possible to shrink jeans, i unfortunantly have done it to mine, not purposely of course i just put mine in the laundry tempreture 40

    Well some washing machines can actually shrink your jeans a bit, I've tried this many times before. Good Luck!

    Well done about losing weight.

    Although slightly weird, I get into a hot bath with my jeans on and they shrink to fit me perfectly!

    Try tumble drying them.

    Also you can just wash them at 40 degrees C wash but that's not very eco friendly.

    You can definitely shrink anything by washing it in warm water and throwing it in the dryer for like an hour...try that but yeah, you can't be sure as to what size they'll shrink down to...

    you can shrink you're jeans but there is no gaurentee what size they are going to come out. you can't really control so i suggest going somewhere like goodwill, you can get great cheap jeans.

  • Apparently in my mum's generation, they used to put them on, get in the bath, and then they shrink down to your size.

    put them in the washer and wash time in hot water and dry them for like an hour in hot setting

    after you wash them put them in the dryer

    or wear them in a really hot bath
