What happened??

Just checked into Seniors, and got a message that there where no Qs, why don't I be the fist to ask one. What happened?

Yes, I got that message just this morning. With all that's been happening around YA Seniors lately, I figured either Yahoo pulled the plug on the section or it just caved in on itself! Guess it's just a glitch in the site. Here's the message I got when I signed in this morning . . .

    Drat. Nothing here right now.

Why don't you become the first to ask a question instead?

If you are in a country other than the US, you will sometimes get this message. I'm in Australia, and get it frequently. It even adopts an "Aussie slang" way of talking ! It just means that there are no Q's in the Aussie Seniors section.

Anyway,I find that if I just go back to the YA home page, then go into Seniors again, I get into the right place. Try it, I'm sure you'll find that this helps.

Stormy, I get that message sometimes...the "no questions". I don't think the Senior Citizens area questions are empty, I suspect that the Yahoo Servers are busy when that message appears. There are other questions here; but I thought I'd stop and answer your question along with the others....:)

This happens to me about once a day. I think it is Yahoo's way of getting you to ask a question. I know there are questions. I had just asked one. Then everyone disappeared. The ways and whys of Y!A are strange. Just go out of Y!A or into another cat and when you come back, "we're here!" Spooky, huh.

Just another glitch in the y/a system, it happens to me too but I just click on the "refresh" button, next to the address bar....and up pops all the questions again....give it a try next time it happens, it does work!!

Not that many seniors are on .

Firstly , not many older people have access to the internet or want to go on the internet .

Secondly , to write in seniors could be insulting as you would be classed as old .

I'm 21 but like to help anyone .

Just another one of Yahoo's "glitches"

like when you finish answering one question and then click on the next one you want to answer and it tells you that they are on a "coffee break"
