Avatars disappearing?

It could be that the Yahoo servers are busy, or maybe there is a glitch, or perhaps Yahoo is doing some maintainence. When I see more than one avatar with the red x along with the "no questions" message I just assume there is a hiccough in the system and that it will be corrected as soon as Yahoo 'reboots' it's servers.

This happened to me 50 minutes ago when I opened Wickwire's question about ghost company. It was blank for about 10 seconds but there was no red x. It was strange to me given the subject of the question. Now that I see it has happened elsewhere I will rest easy.

I have changed mine a few times. Sometimes I just change the background or the clothes on my Avatar

I'm not too sure but it could be to do with the Yahoo 360 thing, Isn't tomorrow the 8th, the day of the big change.

I change mine with the seasons, lake stuff in the summer, raking in the fall and such. Also, the first of the year they start doing alot of changes, last year it took me the whole month of January to get my pc straight.

There could be several reasons, one being: they just wanted a new avatar-done it myself a time or two.

Some folks change their avatars to attempt to confuse others or hide.

While others have gotten suspended & come back with a new avatar & name.

Take your pick.

you be conscious of what? they are constantly having trubles! and who cares if their taking A breather! lol confident I even have been having issues additionally no ones Avatar is working. yet they are nonetheless on and everybody continues to be answering questions,and nicely a minimum of we've something distinctive to chat approximately! lol
