Question about Ohio State fans?
Last night when the game was 10 Ohio 0 LSU someone posted a question asking what all the people who said LSU would beat Ohio thought now. I answered, reminding them of last years game when Ohio took an early lead, only to be creamed by the Gators. Funny, when LSU took the lead that question had been deleted by the asker (you know who you are). I was giggling about that the rest of the night and wanted to give everyone else a chance to giggle with me :) Anyone else find this fan arrogance followed by fickleness funny?

I am a USC alum living in Buckeye country. OSU Fans are the most arrogant, obnoxious, blabbering set of fair-weather fans I have ever met. So yes, I find it very funny.
And it is MIGHTY QUIET in our office this morning!!! NO ONE is talking about it. I'm walking around with a HUGE smile on my face......saying nothing. Thanks LSU.
Edit: Oh, and I thought the same thing. When OSU scored one minute into the game, my mind immediately jumped to the Florida game...I sent a text to all my Buckeye friends..."this is starting to look like last year." I didn't suspect how close to being right I was. At least this year, OSU made a game out of it. Last year's game was boring. This year, plenty of excitement.

Once again, the Big 10 turns in a poor bowl showing, 3-5 this year, and 2-5 last year. Not sure why people are so high on this conference and continue to rank them high enough to send two teams to the BCS.
I think it's funny that the person didn't have the guts to keep their question up on the board. Also, they had deleted the question by the third quarter, when OSU only trailed by 21 with plenty of time to come back. That's a disturbing lack of confidence.
Next year should be interesting.
We need an 8 or 12 team playoff.

Every team has its share of bandwagoners, in every sport. That's just the nature of the beast. There are also some extremely diehard fans who are there no matter what. To categorize the majority of OSU fans as fairweather is not a fair assessment until statistically proven as fact. Look at pro football: whatever team wins the Super Bowl or appears to have the next dynasty is the team whose jersey appears everywhere. When Montana was lighting it up in Frisco, there were more 49'ers fans in America than ever seen before, now it is the Patriots. In baseball, it is the Yankees and now the Red Sox. Again - just the nature of the beast. I question those who need to post slams on a public message board over this issue - that it bothers you THAT much that now you get your so-called jollies over a bowl game loss. Go protest the war in Iraq, puppy mills where dogs are dying every day and living in filth so people can have designer dogs, or any other number of truly relevant issues for you to get upset over. Oh yea - not only am I not a fairweather fan, I am an activist so no hypocrite here.

10 years ago in the Cooper era of OSU, I rarely ever saw anyone wearing OSU stuff. Then when they finally won the NC a few years ago, the OSU stuff came out of the woodwork. Everybody and their brother had on the scarlet and gray. They loved to ram it down your throat. But when they lost, it was always some lame excuse as to why they lost and mysteriously, the OSU stuff disappeared. I think it's hilarious. I'll agree that not all OSU fans fit this mold and yes it may be slightly unfair to the OSU fans that act in the proper fashion. I have co-workers that are OSU fans and I get along with most of them. The ones I don't get along with are the ones that again, want to cram it down your throat. How do I know this you might ask? I live along the Ohio River about 2 hours from Columbus.
To add one more point for "Cleveland Browns Girl"....... I don't doubt what you are saying but have you ever heard the phrase "guilty by association"? I have a tissue in my pocket so I may assist any OSU fan by "dotting their i's" to dry up the tears. All the years of having it crammed down my throat and it's time to give a little back.

You know what I got home just in time to see OSU break off that big run for a touchdown. Then I saw them march down the field again and get 3 more. I immediately thought LSU will calm down and and commence to spanking OSU. Guess what they did. People need to remember that a football game is 4 15:00 min quarters long, and just because one team gets off to a fast start does not mean that the other team is out of it. Great Job LSU for bringing the title back to the south for the second consecutive year.

The Ohio State fans are some of the most arrogant you will find in the country. The loss will be spun by many as not a loss due to the (fill in the blank) that happened on the field. Next year, the pre-conference homeschedule is Youngstown State, Ohio and Troy & these folks don't mind paying around $60 a ticket + a college booster club fee to watch glorified scrimmage games.

There were tons of those people...
Kind of funny how they all became so quiet at the end of the 2nd quarter...
They were saying how stupid LSU/SEC fans looked now...
Yeah, look who got burned by the early call?...
