Saying for our favor tags?

Our favors are chocolates in the colors of the cancers that have touched our mothers lives. I need help with the pink for my mother. Here is what I have so far...

Our favors aren’t in our bridal colors of red and green and blue,

We chose to make chocolate ribbons in an entirely different hue.

Pink is for Angela's mom (breast cancer)...........

Pearl is for lung cancer that Karl’s mom was given

Gray is for brain cancer; which took his mom to heaven

I'm not good with this sort of thing. Thanks for your help.

    I'm not sure. I will have to think about it.

    How about "In honor of the "sweet" ladies who made us who we are today."

    "In honor of {bride's mother's name} and {groom's mother's name}, our strength, our love, our hope.

    "May this sweet treat be a reminder of our dear mothers' and their unyeilding strength."

    This doesn't sound like a good idea as your wedding is a joyous day you don't want to bring people down.
