Depression chat groups for professionals etc...?

Anyone know of depression chat/support groups with different categories for different people. I have a Masters degree and would prefer chatting with similar depressed/bipolar types dealing with functioning well in a professional or academic environment, for instance. The ones I've found connect me with housewives dealing with their rowdy kids and/or other stuff I didn't relate to much. Am I really in such an odd minority?

The secret of life is not to see the differences, which cause isolation but to try and relate to all things.

I see where you are coming from here but it's a big wide world and many of the people who are in the category of which you speak have not even had the time to understand that they are part of that world.

And even if the have they either don't have the time or the desire to face their problem in things such as chat rooms.

You have taken the first steps now keep on walking, it may be up hill but it is worth it.

    "What is the most miraculous

    of miracles?

That I sit quietly by myself."

    ---

"A monk said to Yueh-shan, "I have a problem. Will you solve it for me?"

Yueh-shan said, "I will solve it for you tonight."

That evening, Yueh-shan ascended the high seat, and said, "Will the monk who has the problem step forward?"

The monk stepped forward. Yueh-shan descended from his seat, grasped the monk by the lapels of his robe, and called out, "Oh, monk, this fellow has a problem!" Then he pushed him away and walked out."
