No, you still will have a period. The only way to stop the period is to get a full hysterectomy. And most doctors will not perform a full hysterectomy unless it's warranted. I had my tubes tied 5 years ago, it was so nice, but yes you still have the aunt visit every month.

    I WISH!!!!

I had my tubes tied 8 years ago after my second son.. and I wish I never would have done it..

My periods are heavier, last longer and now I have cramps that put me to bed..

    DONT DO IT!!!

the only way your period will stop forever is if you have a hisdyrectomy... (i dont know how to spell it correctly but you know what im sayin)

No. Your body will still produce adn release eggs which is what signals when it is time to menstruate. They just can not get to your uterus or be fertlized.

It is not the only thing that prevents your period, there are many things that can cause it..go to your Obgyn dear!

    NOPE.

Your period comes from your uterus, not your fallopian tubes.

If you are post pubescent & pre menapausal, with ovaries & uterus intact you've got period.
