Get off the computer and write it out physically on paper, word for word, over and over again. Read through it sentence by sentence, one at a time, and as you are able to recite it back to yourself or to a parent without messing up, highlight that sentence. Eventually you will have the whole thing memorized sentence by sentence and it will appear totally highlighted.
Repetition is the best tool for memorizing something in a short amount of time. Other than that, organizational skills and good time-management will help you in the long run.
Good luck!

Start with a couple of lines and say them over and over, then write them like 7 times. then do 3 more lines the same way but at the end say them all together, keep going until you have done the entire thing. repeating is the only way to go. also really pay attention to what it is about, that will help you to get interested and understand what you are memorizing. Good luck!!!!

Memorize it to a tune- think of your favorite song, and while humming the music, write it out on paper. Keep doing that until you have it memorized. It really works- promise! Also, if you want another way to do it, use association. Take the sentences, and associate them with something that you like, or makes you smile. For instance, if you're trying to remember a name, like Mike for example. Think of Mike on a bike- or Michael riding a tricycle... that type of thing. It also helps as well! Good luck on your speech!

note cards, and someone (or a mirror) to practice in front of. take the notecards away one by one. Do it over and over until you're out of time. then you know you did the best you did, even if you still haven't completely memorized it.
