The whole Big 10 is down right now, at the same time, the SEC is flying high. 10 years ago, when Iowa, Penn State, Michigan, OSU, and Purdue- even Northwestern for a couple of years under Gary Barnett, were all solid, the SEC was struggling. These things go in cycles. OSU was embarrassed two years in a row in the BCS and now they have to revamp their out of conference schedule to add serious competition and keep recruiting. Rich Rodriguez being at Michigan should improve the Big 10 a little but cold weather schools are out right now compared to those in the South and on the West Coast.

First off, represent for the South. LSU, yall did yalls thing. Now, Ohio St. is that THE university because they produce the most NFL players. I'm pretty sure they are the second best football recruiting school behind Notre Dame. Does that allow them to be called THE university? Maybe. After watching last night's game, I'm able to say one thing: Ohio St. is a good team... but just not as good as LSU. And I don't wanna hear any excuses from some Big 10 person, it was a completely fair game. So what about the penalties? Ohio St. choked in the big game. LSU did also, but that was only in the beginning. You see, a good team keeps their poise and corrects their mistakes. The first couple of minutes made a lot of southerners' (me included) blood pressure rise. Craig Steltz made a mistake which lead to a Beanie Wells' touchdown (Wells is gonna be a heisman someday). LSU's first offensive possession showed why Ohio St. has the number one defense in the country. LSU played disgusting football. Matt Flynn was rushing around like a jackass. Then, coach called timeout, and sat down with his players. He told them, keep your poise, we're not out the game, we've been in this situation a million times before. And like great teams do, they correct their mistakes, and start playing a whole new ballgame. In conclusion:

Ohio St. is a good team, just not as good as LSU.

I would like to know who dubbed them as THE Ohio State. If you want the name anyone as THE team, look at Michigan. Yeah they were down this year, but still they can claim that they have more wins all-time than anyone else in college football. If not them then maybe Notre Dame since they are number 2 all-time.

i dont hate you either, your embarrasing yourself & probably dont even realize it, why should i pile it on & hurt myself., I will say though dang there are some angry mofo's on this site toward osu, & im not just talking about you. my only guess could be there just angry in general & are like that with whatever team theyre rooting agianst or they are jealous of osu cause theyre one of the most successful teams in the nation...i am basing that statement on a year in year out basis, they are consistently good & put the occasional contender on the field, i dont count this year, they were onlly there cause of a flawed system. & yes it does go in cycles, the sec was not this dominant until just a few years ago & it will be someone else again, thats the way it goes. besides no one even realized or talked about the sec being this dominant UNTIL osu's beat down last year, eveyone thought osu would win that going in, so reallly its been about a year, which doesnt mean much but people are acting like theres a rich tradition of dominance or something when thats just not the case.

if youre life is at risk, id leave. i know it may seem like a big step but after youve conquered this, you can go back to get your degree and do what you want. but put your life first, its the mosr vaulable thing you have. dont think of it as 'losing your degree'. think of it as leaving for a while to help yourself, in which you really need it right now...its not worth getting your degree then dying shortly after. so just put it off til now, help yourself, then go back when youre healthier for your degree. hope i helped and good luck if you explain the story and do paperwork, they might let you back in. or go to a different college. but it wont be worth anything if you finish college now then get worse and die later on

I lost respect for OSU when JT told his player to TAKE OUT willis mcgahee well good job because that is the only way you won that game and the refs help. And you ALMOST ended a great players career so first off I have no respect for them. OSU had the 116th strength of schedule Hawaii had 117th and finished undeafted should the NT game been osu vs Hawaii NO!! I was not looking forward to this title game because i knew it was going to be another beat down blow out call it what u will but OSU is not that good.
