Undiluted White Vinegar should work to clean off the raw egg just sponge on and leave on for about fifteen to twenty minutes then sponge or use a clean cloth that has been dipped into warm not hot water when removed dry with a dry cloth Good Luck !

"Very gently scrape the excess egg. Mix a solution of mild soap in lukewarm water. Swish to create a great volume of suds. Apply only the foam with a sponge. Dry with a clean cloth. If a grease stain remains, powder the area with an absorbent such as corn-meal, allowing enough time for it to work. Gently brush it off and repeat if necessary. On leather only, follow with Tannery Vintage Leather Cleaner & Conditioner or Fiebing's Saddle Soap to condition the leather."

You will probably have to take it to a dry cleaner that specializes in cleaning leather. You might try a leather cleaner, usually sold in leather shops.

Kelley R was doing great until the last part about the vintage conditioner or saddle soap- neither of these products should be used on furniture or garment grade leather. Other than that their directions seemed very good.

Let it dry completely and use a soft bristled brush on it. At the local shoe repair shop or at a good shoe shop you can get these brushes for cleaning leather and suede. That should do the job for you. If still some stain on it - was with a damp cloth until it comes off.

If the jacket is a shade that may not stain(black), vegetable oil or peanut oil will smash down the gum and you will wipe it away. comparable theory as getting gum out of hair.
