How does God interact with his followers?

The question below asks whether Christians believe in telepathy, and whether or not that's how God interacts with them.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtxE....

There are a few responses that say that they don't believe in telepathy, but that God interacts with them in some other form. I was wondering how this works, because I can't see any way of God interacting with his followers except through telepathy.

In what way does God interact with his followers?

The likeliness of humanities existence is even less likely then you getting 400,000 royal flushes in a row, the chances of your existence is a billion times less likely than that, now either you believe we hit the mega jackpot or that there is some being to create order in this world. Also what evidence are you looking for? My religion believes that God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ visited a man on earth to restore his gospel. Also the earth does have edges, not edges like the end of the earth, or that it is a square, but it does have cliffs and oceans which do look like edges. And there are pillars they are called pinnacles. Also the foundation that God could have laid could be the blob at the beginning of the universe. To this day no one knows why that "blob" of infinite mass was disturbed, or how it even came into existence. Also if you talk to many of todays top theoretical physicists, they think that we know almost nothing about the actual universe that we are in. In reality this world could be an illusion, or a test if you put it into a spiritual sense.

Oh, they just know. What!? That's not good enough for you!?

Maybe if you weren't evil and would accept God's love, you would know too.

    Just kidding.

How do unicorns interact with their riders?

Ooo, ooo, ooo. How do vampires REALLY drink their victims' blood? Maybe they sharpen straws... Do they buy their victims' drinks if they (the vampire) want a buzz?

It is through the Holy Spirit (God's divine power) of God, which allows us to develope a personal relationship with our Father in heaven.....Jesus told His followers that the Holy Spirit, which the Father would send, "will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you" (John 14:26). It is through God's Spirit within us that we gain spiritual insight and understanding.

Because it is impossible to be overcomers by keeping God's law in its full spiritual intent on our own, Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit to guide and help us. When we do all we humanly can to be obedient, God gives us, through His Holy Spirit, the additional help we need to obey His truth and have a sound mind reflecting godly love.

His Spirit helps us overcome the weaknesses and selfish desires of human nature. It enables us to worship God in spirit and in truth. It provides us comfort during trials and allows the mind of Christ to work in us. Through it God inspires and leads us, and makes us His very own children.

I'm sorry Vishal, but God doesn't use Telepathy. He uses his word the Bible. When we read the Bible or hear something from it read or told to us an it reaches our mind, th en sinks down into our HEART and MOTIVATES us to actions towards him, THEN that is how he communicates and how he draws us to him.

Thus -- faith without works is dead. He draws those indisposed ones and those who are righteously inclined to him-- by motivating them in their hearts.

God "interacts" with all. But with those whom are known by Him and have a relationship with Him, He speaks through His Word, (the Bible).

Telepathy is mind-to-mind. God speaks to us Spirit-to-spirit. He also uses other believers to speak truth into our lives. In that way, two people benefit.

There is NO SCRIPTURAL BASIS for telepathy.

God interacts with us by the Holy Spirit residing in each of us who are Born Again!
