Which is harder, GRE or GMAT?
I took the GRE in my last semester of schooling because I planned on going to grad school for advertising. I did well enough to make it into a great school, but decided to go into the workforce and make money at the last minute.
Here I am, little older, little wiser and considering grad school again, only in business instead. THUS, the GMAT is necessary. I personally found the GRE really tough, and now that I have been out of school for 3 years, feel like it could only be worse.
Please tell me the GMAT is easier than the GRE!!!

The verbal part of the GMAT is easier than the GRE.
Math is harder, though.
No offense to you or anyone, but I suspect that on average GRE-takers are smarter that GMAT-takers. On the other hand, most people's score goes down the longer they are out of school.
Assuming you have a decent job/references and do plan to study, you should get in.

A GRE vs. GMAT score comparison is difficult, but in general the GMAT is the harder exam. Put side-by-side, the GMAT math and reading comprehension questions are more difficult for the comparable skill level. International students may find the GRE harder because of the vocabulary required. The question of GMAT or GRE will probably be determined by the requirements of the graduate programs. Virtually all major business schools require the GMAT as well as some graduate economics programs. The GRE is used for non-business related graduate programs.
