Why don't we listen more carefully to all the candidates?

We tend to be drawn toward those who have star quality but some of the others speak more candidly. What do you think of this

I watch and listen to both parties. I also try not to miss a debate.

One of the reasons I do this, is in case I need a second choice (or a third).

We need to keep our eyes open and research the candidates. Popularity won't solve this Country's problems, or keep us safe.

I listen, and I am old fashion I look to what a persons actions have been in the past....

...I am a Republican but I do watch both parties as if a Dem takes over I want the one that can most unite us.

...That being said, hillary is the most disingenuous, say anything to get elected Elitist I have ever known! She was a W*tch from H*ell when Bill was in the WH now she is this teary old, poor little girl that cannot beat the big bad black man! I believe both Hillary and Bill are closet racists who have used people in the past to get power, and now they are in a situation where this may come back to haunt them.

Obama is my man for the Dems,...and Mitt for Rep. side simply because of their past actions and both of their integrity's!

The candidates have to discuss some very complex, difficult issues and we live in a society where we are used to fast information, presented at probably about a fifth grade level.

Rather than doing the hard work that processing complex information requires, we would rather listen to other people's opinions and labels(such as Rush Limbaugh's use of liberal and Michael Moore's use of conservative)and base our decisions on their less complex messages.

I always pay attention to all the candidates and watch all the debates for for both party and things like that. I've noticed that the media has put the most attention on the democrats though.

Go Mike, but where are you? Not part of a single democrat debate?

I heard that Hillary is pushing to help poor families save their homes by subsidizing their heating bill this winter, the bill $110 billion in subsidies to Oil and Utility companies :)

OK you bail them out this year and next year and next year. is that a fiscally responsible policy?

i always pay attention to all of the candidates but we happen to pay a little more attention to those such as Clinton and obama because those two are the most likely nominated for president.

Because Ron Paul is the only one worth listening to for me.

Don't you mean their speech writers? You don't really think the words they speak are theirs do you? They say what they think we want to hear. Before you vote.....check their background and see where they really stand on what they are trying to sell us.
