SE is difficult. About the best way I've found to "reduce" it, is to get a humidifier. I run mine at night while I sleep. Just in my bedroom. This adds moisture to the air and will help with alot of things. Two things it REALLY helps with...little static electricity and helps prevent sinus infections.

Regular hairspray temporarily removes static from your hair as it contains negative ions. You may need to look at the kind of clothing you are wearing though - man made fabrics such as polyester and nylon will create static.

Static is caused by positive charges in the air, called Ions. You can get Ionic brushes as well as shampoo and conditioners which produce negative ionic charges which should take care of the problem.

You can use a staic spray that is meant for clothing. Just spray it on your hairbrush and brush into your hair. Don't spray it on your hair directly!
