we want to renew our vows?

Question

some say i shouldnt wear a wedding dress and all.didnt get to do that first time.is it proper to do s now.we want it to be outdoors and have a potluck dinner with our family and friends there.is it right to do all that when renewing and how would invitations be worded?

First off breathe. This is your day your event. You can do what ever makes you happy and since you did not do it the traditional way the first time then I say go for it (who said you did not do it proper honey you had a pastor or a justice of the peace who has the attority to wed you you did it the proper way) Congratulation on renewing your vows finally someone who is still in love and who are still happy in their life together to do it a second time. I say make this day shine you two deserve it.

Wear a wedding dress! I would wear ivory or champagne though. I have photographed a ton of vow renewals and I have seen everything from simple sundresses to extravagent wedding dresses. It is your call, but I think you should do it!

I want to do that too because I didn't get to wear a wedding gown the first time with my husband so we're doing it right this time there is nothing that says you can't go ahead and do it if you want that
