Blacks had gone to fight for their country like everyone else did when the country would come together against a common enemy. They expected to be treated as equals when they got home but things just went back to the way they'd always been. They were already to fight when Rosie Parks was arrested and when Martin Luther King, Jr. took up the cause to lead.

Hillary may have marched in some protests and may have been a member of the NAACP, but then so was my mother. Hillary didn't do much of anything to further the cause of civil rights.

The civil rights movement started long before John Kennedy or Dr. King were killed. You need to check out a history book.

While there is no doubt that the Democratic Party of long ago certainly was racist and Lincoln certainly was a Republican, African Americans are intelligent enough to realize that you are alluding to ancient history and that it is the republican Party that has been thoroughly infiltrated by the International Corporate Fascist Movement.
