How about the Bobcats?

They beat Boston, went into double overtime against Cleveland, and went into overtime against Detroit, WITH LESS THAN 10 PLAYERS AVAILABLE. Even though they lost against Cleveland and Detroit, they still kept up with them the entire game. I think they did great.

They are the best bad team in the league, getting Richardson and Mohammed has been some of the smartest trading I have seen this year. Beyond those two players they have alot of depth. Gerald Wallace, Emeka Okafor and Raymond Felton are all very good players. I really didn't expect for a team this new to click so quickly. Although this team is deserved of a better record at the moment they won't be able to be a consitant, strong-on-the-road, playoff contender team until they get a good young player to really run this team. Emeka Okafor was supposed to be that player and Gerald Wallace could be that player, but they need to look elsewhere, most likely the 2008 draft. This draft class is loaded with talent and although the Bobcats have had terrible luck with drafts (i.e. Sean May, Adam Morrison, Jermareo Davidson) it is crucial that they land a franchise player soon.

Nazr Mohammed has been great so far for the Bobcats. I am wondering why they do not play him together with Okafor more.

Bobcats have a good core with Felton, Richardson, Wallace and Okafor. When Morrision and May come back next year, the Bobcats will have a lot more firepower from the bench.

I do think the Bobcats have all the pieces. What they need is consistence, experience and better plays from both Felton and Okafor offensively.

they are fairly good, but the offense hasnt worked out, Okafor's inside defense isnt as strong, and they are trying to run everything through wallace and richardson like jordan and pippen. bringing J rich is a poor decision, trading for a franchise player with wallce in a similar playing style. they could take that 12mil a year for 2 or 3 decent players that improve the bench and back up wallace

I've always liked them because Okafor's been my favorite player since he was at UConn but to answer the question since the beginning they've been able to have a better record every year and added pieces every year this one being Richardson but they're not a playoff team yet they still need one more piece of the puzzle

point guard. they need a point guard. they have alot of talent but have noone to get the ball into their hands. if they can get one, they will be the dubyas of the east.

I think they're going to turn it around too.... they are a lot better than their record suggest.
