first i want to thank your husband and rest of military.

but to answer your question Democrats are geared up

pullout troops asap and do witch pullout strategy to

minimize instability more than it is all ready going on.

Republicans sound like they want to leave them but reassess the situation and start making further decisions from there.

Democrats want to bring home the troops asap, to save our country from more debt, but that will be the opening for the bad guys-terrorists to murder our country so we won't even be here to pay our debt. I bet if you asked any of those guys in IRAQ if they think we should end the war, they would say NO! We have done ALOT of good over there- MEDIA doesnt show that part-- they are a democrat majority- for their own benifits- all about MONEY!

Ron Paul is going to bring troops home, guaranteed if elected. He is the only Republican willing to take the stance that this war is a sham. It needs to end and now! America should be taking care of itself.

Definitely do some reading up on him.

Plans range from gradual withdrawl to a 90 day rapid ending of deployment. I personally believe that we should withdrawl in a timespan anywhere between 6 and 18 months from today. I make such a preference so large in timespan because I would allow a new president 9 months to do so if our current president doesn't begin the effort.

The liberals will super charge the base by feeding them a song and a dance and the conservatives will do the same. I suggest you write your congressman about what you want to see done over there.

All of them support the war, don't let them fool you. They'll say anything to get elected like bringing them home in 60 days and blah blah blah. But circumstances change. I think it is highly wrong to tell the terrorists anything, they can curb our elections like they did in Spain with one attack.
