Well I certainly won't crown him but he did play very well today. He average 9+ yards an attempt and made 0 mistakes. You might say he didn't win it because he only threw 18 times but that was due to Dallas having the ball the whole game. The Giants actually called more pass plays than run plays.

Simple... 0 turnovers. And it's tough to say managing. He lead the Giants on a 40 second, 70+ yard TD drive at the end of the half that really saved them and took away a ton of momentum from Dallas. Against Tampa, he faced the #1 past defense in the league. Dallas has the #9 overall defense in the league. Even a QB that manages a game has to be good enough to pick and choose his places and not make mistakes. So far, Eli has 4 td's, and 0 turnovers. And the Giants are in the Championship game. Of course, I agree with you that if the Giants win the Super Bowl, Eli Manning is a part of that, but he is not all of that. Their defense today was fantastic, as they put a ton of pressure on Romo and playing with a banged up secondary that featured a rookies and back-ups, they held one of the top offense's in the league to 17 points, 3 in the second half. And they limited T.O. to 4 catches, only 1 in the second half. Let's hope this continues. GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Eli is very fragile on the field. The Giants did a great job today, but the Cowboys looked like crap. 1 foul after the other. Cowboys were over-rated. If Eli doesn't step it up, they'll never beat the Packers.

Yea but he has two play off victories and Rom has none. He made plays when he needed to and threw no interceptions.

By the way have you observed that both him and Philip Rivers are in Championship Games both came out in the same draft congrats to both.

Go Packers, this is where Eli's run needs to end, the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field

The QB always gets the most credit for a win, unless it is obviously a special teams victory. Some QB's let it go to their head, others give credit to the team - where it belongs.

but he did contribute 14 points control the offence and Won the game

It's not like Romo ever won the games for the Cowboys eigther, but he got all the credit anyway.

    So what is your point?

he hasnt LOST THE GAME for them. That is a step in the right direction that he is definately becoming a better QB.
