You have to wait for your period. If it just does not wanto come, ask your doctor to prescribe Provera 10mg tablets for you. This will bring on your period. You have to "bleed" and shed some of your old lining before starting with Clomid. It's useless otherwise.

    Good luck!

No, you need to wait for your period before you can start clomid. If you do not get your period, talk to your doctor. There is medication you can go on to start your period. The day you get your period will be cd 1, and generally you take clomid either cd 3-7, 4-8 or 5-9 depending on what your doctor tells you.

I have been ttc for 14 months. I also had very irrgular periods. The doctor gave me prometrium to start my period and then clomid to help me ovulate. I am currently on my third round of clomid cd 13. I am hoping I ovulate tomorrow. I have been very lucky and have not experianced any bad side affects while taking clomid. I take it at night, so am not sure it that has helped at all.

I suggest talking to your doctor. The doctor will most likley take a blood test just to make sure you are not pregnant and then prescribe medication to help you get your period.

Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!

No, you should wait until your period. It won't work correctly if you do it before. Not to mention the fact that you're late, and if you were pregnant by some chance, clomid can cause birth defects.

in case you ovulate on clomid your odds are comparable to those of a lady ovulating evidently -- about 20-30% per cycle, with maximum women pregnant interior 3-6 months in the journey that they are going to conceive. so that you ought to get pregnant the first try ... or the 4th or the sixth. in case you're literally not pregnant after 6 cycles the physician will likely refer to you about attempting more suitable effectual injectable meds. And in case you haven't yet had an complete fertility artwork-up earlier starting up the clomid, the physician ought to do this earlier shifting onto the more desirable meds.
