Need Help From All Of You Out There!! Sexual Harassment!!!?

Hey Gang,

My wife lost her job today with a major U.S. Company after 2.5 years of hard work! Her boss has been bullying her and harassing her for the last couple of months because he wants a "man" to do her job! She had severe flu symptoms ( I won't get into detail!!) yesterday and after working a full day today, still sick and barely being able to stand, the SOB told her he was letting her go! There was no human resources representative in the office, no exit package no nothing! We feel her termination was unjust and sexual harassment!

We are looking for advice and a good sexual harassment attorney in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Can you help us?

Thanks-Your Buddy Johnnyb

WI is a right to work state; they can pretty much hire and fire at will. Not picking; but there isn't anything here you presented that shows sexual harassment. You MIGHT have a better chance at discrimination.

Since I don't live in the area, this has to be sort of general--but what I would do is contact one or more women's advocacy organizations (such as NOW). The first one or two you call may not have resources to help you themselves--but they will know where to get advice/help. Also--a very good source of information often overlooked are universities. The Women's studies and/or sociology, law, etc. departments usually have one or more people researching related legal issues and will "know the ropes" so to speak.

    Good luck!

I think you mean sexual discrimination, not sexual harassment. In either case, contact your local Legal Aid office, or your library for the Martindale-Hubbell law index.
