Xavier Lee is entering the NFL Draft.?

Lee was asked to move to Tight End, can you really blame him for wanting to enter the Draft? He would have been a redshirt Senior next year. Lee is an exceptional athlete, there isn't a doubt about that, but his inconsistency is the question. He has good NFL size, 6'5" 235, good speed, strong arm, but not very accurate.

Will an NFL team take a chance and draft him and fine tune his natural ability or will he be the lastest highly recruited Florida State quarterback to be a "bust"?

He can't even pass a FSU online exam without getting caught. I seriously doubt he'll be able to pass the NFL's wonderlic test. It's a shame that he was a wasted talent. For them to ask if he'll go to tight end is a joke because we hardly ever use the tight end except to block.

If he goes to the NFL then he is going to go in as a free agent. He won't be drafted. He's hasn't done anything except beat Bama to show that he can play on the next level.

I personally don't think Xavier Lee will have much of an impact in the NFL just because he doesn't have that much college experience. It's still too early to tell though, so maybe entering the draft could be good for his career.

I thought he was a pretty decent QB at FSU. I think he's a better athlete than Weatherford, but it's his actions off the field that started to hurt him this season. If he didn't get suspended for so many (big) games, I don't think Jimbo Fisher and the rest of the coaches would have asked him to play tight end instead of QB. I wish him the best of luck, but he has a lot to prove if any NFL team chooses to take him on.

He was very inconsistent at fsu when he was in games at times.

He does have good size. The combine will show alot. He'd be more suited for a passing offense I would presume since blocking is imperative in most offenses so his value would be low I think.

Sad such a good athele could possibly mis out, but like I tell most people ..football is more being in the right place at the right time more than being a good athlete.

He get picked up on some one practice squad as a FA i'm sure.

He is a good athlete, but thats it. He was a horrible QB, throwing as many picks as TD's, didn't learn the playbook and skipped class alot. I doubt anyone whould draft him, His only good game he had was against Alabama, the rest of his games he was awful, especially against Miami. This is the reason he was asked to be a tightend cause he couldn't cut it a QB, I mean if he's a good as he thinks he is then surely you can beat out Drew Weatherford for the starting job, Right? It's sad really because he's one of the best Florida Highschool players ever, but he's a bust, 3rd string behind Drew and Ponder so no he won't make it in the pros

He needs to gain at least 25lbs to be a decent blocking/receiving TE. Can't say I blame the guy. He had some exposure and might actually get drafted. He could be the next Antonio Gates. But he does need to put on some weight
