What team in college football was the most overrated? Which team was the most underrated?

Ohio State I believe was WAYYYY Over-rated !!!!!

West Virginia was well under-rated.....Remember, everyone thought Oklahoma was going to destroy them, they lost their coach, Lawsuits were being filed....lots and lots of distractions but yet the Mountaineers overcame all the distractions which makes them the most under-rated team in America.

P.S. The Jayhawks were very Under-rated as well...they deserve their fair share of credit as well !!! ( Job well Done )

P.S.S. To Favre is John Wayne : Apparently you missed the game, even the experts agreed that if Oklahoma would've had all of their starters, they would've still been beaten by WV.

THE EXPERTS SAID THAT WV WAS " TOO EXPLOSIVE" FOR OKLAHOMA !

I guess what I'm trying to say is get over it....it's in the record books and WV won...they were the underdog's and least under-rated for that game. If you remember, even with the injuries, Oklahoma was favored to win by a minimum of a touchdown and LOST by 20. That's the facts !

Overrated - LSU, the best team they beat is arguably either a 4 loss Washington or a 3 loss Georgia. LSU is a top 25 team, not top 10. Underrated - Iowa, beat Penn St., Michigan St., and Wisconsin on the road, as well as a solid Arizona team at home. I would actually rank them ahead of Texas.

Over Rated - Definitly Ohio State is the most over rated, if you get beat by Illinoise, and your still in the National Championship game than your over rated.

Under Rated - The Missouri Tigers are a fantastic team that gets little respect. Even though they lost 2 games, they lost those 2 to a great team, Ohklahoma (I think thats how you spell it).

OK i agree with you on OSU but not with Kansas. the most underrated team was Georgia. People didn't give them any respect until the end of the season. Truth is they were a solid team all year. I think that they could have gave LSU a run for their money in BCS but thats jus my opinion doesn't mean its right. Although i do beieve they were the most underrated team.

Overrated Ohio State. They are always overated. The most underated team was South Florida. But there season went downhill.

Ohio State was the most overrated at the end of the year, but California takes the prize for the regular season....after they got to #2, Tom Petty appeared and started singing, "Freefallin'."

Illinois by far was the most underrated. They were projected to finish in the middle of the pack in the Big Ten, but wound up hovering near the top ten in the national polls before the Bowl Exhibition Series.

Overrated: Ohio State.

Underrated: University of Hawaii (who went undefeated all season).

Overrated: USC or Ohio State

Underrated: Definitely the Jayhawks - Mizzou got shafted too.

Most over rated Hawaii man they proved that they cant hang with the real teams.
