What happened to the julio-claudians after the fall of Nero?

Did any of them attain any serious positions of power?

There were none left. They'd all died, killed each other, or killed themselves.

Nero himself was only a Julio-Claudian by adoption.

Nero committed suicide in AD 68, ending the 54 year reign of the Julio-Claudians. The following year is termed "Year of the Four Emperors", consisting of the rule of Galba, Otho, Vitellius and finally Vespasian (the first ruler of the Flavian dynasty) who was emperor for the following 10 years. Hope that answered your question :).

Source(s): I'm doing an assignment on this right now. I got alot of the information from wikipedia though.
