You might be starting to take this too seriously, Markyyy.

*Nearly* everyone knows that your questions are playful, gentle, repectful and thought provoking.

Invoking an unseen authority to smite questions and answers is sometimes necessary when people are obviously abusing the forum (for example to control the spam flow, or when people abuse Yahoo to target individuals or to promote violence).

Don't bother reacting to such report monkeys. They are only trying to intimidate you.

Reporting the Reporter. A novel idea.

I feel ya,Markyyy....This whole thing of reporting,blocking,eye gouging and playing for points,is beyond me....It's like dealing with 3rd graders...I just really don't involve myself in all of this junk and I couldn't care less about what level I have attained...I am sure there are a number of very righteous persons and geniuses that are on level one,and conversely, a number of heathens and idiots on level 7 to infinity....I personally, have been quite fortunate in the past reguarding Yahoo disciplinary action but am a bit miffed to observe the unfair and harsh treatment that many have been unjustly subjected to...

I received a very nice e-mail from Laptop,the other day and she made mention of the report monkeys that have been on her back,lately....I don't like to see this happen to anyone,reguardless of the compatibility of our beliefs and convictions and would defend her as I would one of my Christian friends..... Leave her alone!!....

I'd say "not an answer" - for point gaming, they'll look for a pattern of other questions being answered the same way, easier and quicker to go the "not an answer" route.

Maybe wait and see if they really reported you first. so you dont jump into some reporting war..if they reported you then report them

Either. It's clearly both, and as far as I'm aware the reporting process is automated unless they appeal so it doesn't make much difference.

Sounds fair to me. Personally, I don't believe in reporting people - just a policy of mine, but such people are kinda asking for it.

If I didn't think they were joking, I would. And I am pretty against reporting things.
