I believe someone on here threatened suicide?

A lot of people come here dealing with suicidal thoughts. All you can do is report him by clicking on the report button and hope that someone gets to him in time. How do you help??? By letting him know that he's not a lone and that other's care and are willing to listen to him and to give him an ear to talk to. If a person really want to kill them self unless he's in a hospital there isn't much more that you can do besides reporting it.

there are many people on here that say they want to kill themselves, and even ask for painless ways to do it. every case should be taken seriously, even if you do not think they are serious. most people here that threaten suicide are asking for help, and the best we can do is offer them hope, sound advice, and give them a reason not to do it. giving them a number of a suicide prevention hot line is , i guess the best we can do. i have worked with many people that are suicidal, and in the end, you cannot con troll their destiny, if they really want to do this.

Attempt to commit suicide is a sudden impulse. There must be some sudden tragic feeling in the person. Try to convince the person to overcome the feeling. He will be alright. Good luck.

yea, i saw one like that. I dont think we can help in any way..we cnnot find out where they live and try to help them. sadly, i dont think theres any way we can help. i tried convincing the person NOT to kill themself, but i cant do anything more. It might be a joke, to get smpythey, but unfortunetly believe think some of them are real =[

email yahoo customer care and give them the link to the message where he posted it in here. regardless if hes serious or not hes thinking it and needs help.

nothing you can do really. you can try to e-mail or im him if he allows for it. other than that, you're kind of stick. i've seen read many q's that sound very real. this is nothing new i'm afraid. say a prayer,cross your fingers and hope for the best.

If he wants to kill himself than I guess its a to bad I dont think we can do anything about it. Everyone thinks about that in one in point life, but its up to him if he wants to keep on living.

e-mail yahoo help and try to get him not to do it if he is serious. don't let him kill him self. i know you will do the right thing.

let him kill himself, its his life he can do whatever he wants unless he hurts others psysically.
