What will you buy with your Free rebate check?

use it to pay the last of my credit card debt so that I can FINALLY be credit card debt free. So IF we get those nice promised large checks for married people....I will use it to pay off that last nagging credit card in our household and that will be the best feeling in the world.

To note: I do think they will issue the refund checks like back in 2001. I just think that they will not commit to an amount till all the legislation is passed. They will do it to prevent a full blown nationwide recession from hitting since we are on the brink of one right now.

Perhaps you're a bit presumptive about that check. Thus far, it's just talk, and Bush and Company are well known for rather vacant talking. Were I you, I'd not get too worried about spending ANYTHING until you actually have the money in your little hands.

Maybe buy a blue ray DVD player.

If I get it I'll add 200.00 to it and buy a C.D. to help pay next years taxes.

I don't know yet as I learned long ago not to spend any money before I actually own it.
