New Favorite Match of 2008 Australian: Federer v. Tipsarevic!?

Couldn't go back to sleep after that one! Federer let it go to 8-8 in the 5th set...

How serious is this "chicken flu?"

That match was one of the best I've ever seen. Tipsaravic played an amazing game agianst Roger, and could have beat him too. Federer though hung in there (hitting close to 40 aces) to win in the 5th set 10-8.

I've seen Janko play before and he is a great player, especially in long matches, and he really could have beaten Federer. A great match.

Federer won the last set 10-8. So I guess as a fan of his, I must say he's not willing to give up. This match lasted him 4 1/2 hours (his opponent was a Serbian, World #49!). I wish him all the best for the remaining matches to get one more Grand Slam title. Go Federer!

I couldn't believe what I saw. I think that Tipsarevic was an excellent player. To seriously get two sets of 7-6 from Federer is unexpected, for me anyways....

But Federer, as expected, seems to always turn things around. I wish him good luck to win the Australian Open.

Janko was so so close. Four points away! But Roger would not give up his serve like always. It crazy how perfect he can place his serve when he needs it. Hopefully Nadal or Djokovic gets to play him. Djokovic is looking very confident. It's someone else's turn to win.
