Robert Melillo has written a book about The Disconnected Child and has opened Brain Balance Centers in the US to help children with Autism. If you've spent the $6,000 to have your child evaluated and trained at one of these centers, I'd like to know the long term outcome. Did it make a difference: If so, what is the net value?

I'm considering taking mixed doubles tennis team members to USOpen 2008. Some team members have never been before.

Bad calls have always been part of tennis but with the advent of Hawk Eye, it doesn't have to be. What changes should be made about over-ruling a bad call to be fair to players?

The Australian fans do it and players (most notably L. Hewitt) do it, too.

How serious is this "chicken flu?"

I've been waiting for Nadal to take the crown but there are some very good players coming up the ranks. Kohlschreiber is displaying very good technique (similar to Federer?) and excellent point construction (similar to Federer?).

He beat Roddick despite Roddick's attempts to pull out all his tricks.

Who is your pick for the future #1?

Martina Navratalova is excellent. Her command of the English language is better than most of the other commentators. She impresses me.

Patrick MacEnroe (sp?) is always excellent. I appreciate his history with some of the players as the Davis Cup captain... He is fair in his assessment of all the players. He doesn't state the obvious.

Some of the Aussies are interesting (great voices) but I have to admit, I don't understand all of their language (English, Aussie style).

I understand that a bisque is a handicap -- one point per set. Can you describe situations when it is employed?

In my imagination, it ought to be used to equal the play between 4.5 and 5.0 players. I've never experienced a bisque offered or even discussed. Bisque is defined in the tennis encyclopedia but described adequately enough to understand fully.

Can you describe its use today?

This is a choice I am facing for summer 2008; we are travelling as a small group, adults and children ages 9-14. Goal is to build lifetime memories and to see beauty unseen in North America. I have only a few summers to show the world to these kids and grandparents. Too much to see; not enough time/money. As a group, we usually prefer active vacations over staring at the ocean.

A group of friends are arguing about what an energy audit is. I thought it would be enlightening to bring this question to a wider audience.

I am the moderator of 2 groups -- which I started. On one, there was a button (near the bottom of the page) that offered to add the group's page to the "My Yahoo!" home page. On the other, no such button appears. I'm not sure how I got the option to appear the first time -- I think it just did on its own. I'd like to see all of my groups on the same home page. I've been using this new Wilson racquet (strung w/ Wilson Reaction) for 1 month and love its "bite" and "touch." I miss the punch-power of my Head Flexpoint and Head TI... Because the Wilson gives me accurate drop shots and slices at the net, I am continuing to practice with it. The logic being: ultimately, I win more points and therefore, more games. Still, I miss the "power" I had with more former racquets. What can I do with my long (baseline) strokes/technique to get that power back and continue to use this amazing new Wilson 6.1 racquet? Are we forced to choose between touch and power? I'm a female doubles player.
