How long does the smell of decomposing mice last?

We had to "decon" some mice in our house, and they arent reachable for us to remove them, and the smell is sooo nasty... How long until the smell is gone?

OK ,I said I cant get to it.... I know it will eventually go away, but how long????

Cant anyone here read????? THE MICE ARE IN THE WALLS, I CANT GET TO THEMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! IF I COULD DO YOU THINK I WOULD BE HERE ASKING HOW LONG I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE SMELL????????????

    pretty long, maybe a couple months for the bodys to decompose

    As long as you keep the mice in the house...Place the cage OUTSIDE...So THAT would prevent the smell

    Well the smell will be there for as long as the body is there, you need to remove the cause of the smell for the smell to be removed.

    until u get rid of the carcasses, or the flesh gets completely decomposed :)
