Fair price for a savage 110 chambered in 338 Win?

Help! I have all my books packed to move to another room in my house, I have a guy who is in need of some quick cash for his family. He wants to sell me a Savage 110 in .338 win Blued, with a synthetic black stock. I want to treat the guy fair, but I don't know what that particular rifle is worth, and he needs the cash quick. Anybody have a blue book or anything handy to give me some idea on value?

I think the "geography" makes a difference also. But depending on which 110 model it is, a new one may not cost $400, so if it's a lowere grade, some of the 110's were sold at Wal-Mart with scopes for less that $350 new just this past year.

I agree with JD. I would say $400 if you want to be nice.
