Bill Clinton.
This man gave the nation a balanced budget after 12 years of Republican borrow and spend. He renewed the respect which the world had for this country. He was a strong leader. His administration brought about the creation of 22 million new jobs (more than the previous 12 years), the highest rate of home ownership in American history, the lowest unemployment in thirty years. He brought about the longest peacetime economic expansion in the nation's history. We had the lowest crime rate in 26 years. All this in spite of the efforts of the Republican Congress to ambush and disgrace him.
