Circuit strength training program?
I am thinking about starting a circuit strength training program at the gym. It's a program set up by them, and you do exercises on Nautilus equipment and finish with cardio exercise of your choice. They have staff to help people get started on this program. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this kind of program. What are the pros and the cons? Would it help to prevent work injuries if I do a program like this (I do a lot of heavy moving and lifting)? Would it help with insomnia problems? What kind of results can I expect from a program like this?

circuit training is a great way for everyday people to get a good whole body workout done in a short amount of time. it is easy to do, fast paced, offers some cardio conditioning, and pretty effective for most people. there really are no cons to it unless you are weight training for the specific goal of adding muscle and strength, then it is not the best approach. a more traditional bodybuilding routine would be better suited for that purpose. circuit training will lead to better overall conditioning, muscle tone and shape. add a 30 minute cardio and a stretching routine to it and you have a perfect 1 hour workout
