In response to a question about thumbs down, Are you pleased or happy when you receive thumbs up?

Acknowledgment never hurts.

Whether is thumb up or down does not endorse the truthfullness of a statement. Rather, is the gauge of popular opinion. For instance, it is possible to receive many thumb downs on statements even though they are true.

I sometimes know that I will get a thumb down, but I will write it nonetheless, if it is important for people to know. Otherwise, keep the mouth shut.

There are many answers I give that I know will not be popular and I will get thumbs down. I wouldn't say I'm happy or pleased, but that at times it's expected.

I guess it doesn't really matter one way or another because for every thumbs down there is twice as many thumbs up and everyone has their own opinion.

depends on the answer I give. If it is contradictory to some stupid question and points out whats wrong with the question I enjoy my thumbs down

but sometimes i like thumbs down...

Makes no difference, I get reported and blocked so much, it doesn't really matter.
