Guppies are compatible with Angelfish, Bettas*, Corydoras Catfish, Danios, Discus, Gouramis*, Hatchets, Killifish, Minnows, Mollies, Platies, Plecostomus, Rainbowfish, Rasboras, Swordtails and Tetras.

Bettas and Gouramis come from the same family and are at times considered aggressive. What you can do to keep this from happening is simply adding the other fish that you want first before adding either the Betta or Gourami in the tank. Do not keep Bettas and Gouramis in the same tank without a divider.

I am not sure what size tank you are working with but here is a chart to let you know how many fish you can keep in gallon sized tanks:

    10-gallons: 12 fish

    20-gallons: 15 fish

    30-gallons: 18 fish

    55-gallons: 30 fish

Check the site below for tank and environment requirements of each fish. Some do require bigger tanks due to school sizes and growth. Good Luck!

    Fish Compatible With Guppies

try to choose fish that will not nip the fins or harass the guppies as guppies are quite slow fish in comparison i personally would go for platies or mollies mollies for a large tank and platies for a smaller tank for cleaner fish i would go for a pair or trio of panda , peppered, albino or bronze corys (p.s panda corys are cute) or a small group of ghost shrimp or some oto cinclus a few more suitable fish are rummynose tetras ,neon tetras, cardinal tetras, harlequin rasboras ,white cloud mountain minnows, and loads more all these fish will live in harmony and may even make friends with your guppies

also if your interested dwarf aquarium frogs have been known to get on well with guppies in even a 5 gallon tank in a tank of that size there should be 1 male guppy 3 females and 3 dwarf aquarium frogs hope that this helped good luck

Anything that is considered community fish, would be compatible with guppies provided that your tank is an appropriate size.

Remember, buy cory cats, tetras, danios, and barbs in groups of at least three. :)

Basically anything, but beware they will breed like mad we started off with 5 guppies and ended up with at least 100. Just be careful of fish that have the tendancy to chew on other fish.

I wouldn't put in any other fish with baby guppies, as they'll probably eat them, but neon tetras or other small tetras should work with the adults.

You have more than enough fish for a 10 gallon tank. If any of the fry are female and survive, it is only a matter of time before you have more. Plenty more.

most things will work with guppies that aren't nippy or predatory. so fish such as corydoras, other livebearers, some tetras (avoid nippy ones like serpae tetras and silver-tip tetras), smaller rasboras, honey gouramis, siamese algae eaters (avoid chinese algae eaters), otocinclus and small plecos (be careful not to get common plecos, bulldog plecos and bristlenose plecos are best for smaller tanks over 15 US gallons).
