It's like saying that the Harry Potter books are evil - I cannot believe that any intelligent person could read the books without reaching my conclusion - that they encourage and reward only the finest (almost 'lost') qualities in their characters and bring out the best in the reader as well - old or young.

So...does your friend feel this way for religious reasons? Is that why? It could be because Disney frequently makes movies that contain magic, and then make amusement rides from those movies. That may be part of it. Some Christians are very much against magic of any kind; some believe anything that has to do with magic is evil.

There is sorcery, idolatry, etc. That's so Raven is disney and she has "psycic visions"; evil. I went to Disney World and I saw all kinds of demonic things. One in particular is the Kali River Rapids; It has an Asian theme and as ur walking up to get to the ride there is a temple of some sort, w/ scary looking idols w/ masks in there. And on the ride there are statues of idols all along the ride. It's things like that. People don't believe that it's demonic, that it's "just kid stuff" Demons and the devil rely on people to believe that sort of stuff so they can have free reign.

Your friend is confused and will be a bad influence on you if you keep associating with them. Cut all ties. Pretend that you are an NFL rookie and they are the ghetto-friends you had growing up. Run like the wind and do not look back. The fact that you are questioning shows that there is still hope, but you have to act now.

Perhaps it's because of the sinful people working behind the scenes for their own agendas! (Not Disneyland itself!) She probably thinks they're evil because of the commercialism and the greed but if you look at it that way that would make the catholic church evil too. Seeing as how there are starving and dying children in this world and they think it's more important to build million dollar churches for the ones that are (SAVED).
