My PS3 freezes so often I'm really starting to worry.?

Well one problom could be scracthed games. that causes most of the freezing. The other thing could be heat. it seems that you keep your console by a tv or low breathing room area. that causes a meltdown. so try putting the ps3 in and open place with no other electronices by it. Then make sure that the games arent to scrachted up. Hope that helps.

Ps3 will freeze up when you are playing online and someone in the room diconnects, signal is lost, recieving corrupted data from shady web sites ( i.e PORN), scratched games, etc.

The system isn't overheating. Ps3's have a built in safety fault that will shut the system down before overheating.

Check your games/blu ray discs

Only try to play people online with good signals

Be careful of what you are doing on the internet browser, too many pages can cause it to slow down (just like a pc).

No, my PS3 does not freeze every now and then. I remember it froze one time while playing a game, but it hasn't froze since then.

Also, if you have the Information Board feature turned on, TURN IT OFF because that is what's most likely causing the PS3 to freeze.

Don't bother waiting up for a reply from Sony, They'll probably just refer you to wherever you bought it from anyway. My advice would be to take it back packaging and all to the place you bought it from, tell them its faulty and they should replace it immediately. If you bought it only 3 weeks ago then it's still under warranty and shouldn't be a problem.

Are you playing it 24-7? Because the more you play any console the more likely it is to freeze on you.

same thing is happein to me rite now. it just freezes. wen i play online like for 5 min it freezes. i called sony today n they told me to restore default settings which mayed it even more worse. imma call sony agen. my advice is to call sony.
