Manipulating sister?
Ok a week before Xmas, I called my sis to see how her xmas shopping was going and she broke down crying saying she didnt know what to do since money was tight this year although she managed to get her son a ps3 with a 42 in. flat screen. Anyway, I felt so bad for her that I told her that I would lend her what I could to help out. I flew down for xmas and stayed at my nieces house, My sister didnt come to see me only when it came down to getting the money. She didnt even come to see me the last day I was there. Any way, I was hurt but didnt fuss. The following days after I came home I called my sister and she never answered my calls so I called my niece to give her mother a message and to tell her not to send me the money but to give it to my son who is living in the same town. My sister called me a few weeks later upset that I put her in a spot and that she didnt have the money and didnt understand why I was harrasing her. She hung up on me and now refuses to pay back. What do I do?
By the way it wasnt that much money it was $100.00. I dont care about the money really, but I feel she was picking a fight with me just so that she wont have to pay back. She has a history of doing this to others I just didnt think she would do that to me.

Lesson learned right?
And you need to tell her that, send her a letter or a card and write in it that you are not going to fight over $100.00 and dont get mad at you because you did something for her so dont ever ask you again.
You did a good thing. Now let it go. But NEVER let her borrow money again.

I am sure she didn't want the niece to know she had borrowed money from you.. You should of wrote her a letter instead of tell ing the other family members.

Is the money worth loosing asister. Yeah shes being a but do you want to loose her though. I would just tell her dont worry about it. Maybe she will eventually pay.
