Is the constant polyphonic ringing in my ears tinnitus or the Pranava?

It's getting so loud that I'm afraid other people might start to hear it, too, and I'll get into trouble with the condo board when the neighbors complain about the noise.

Thanks for introducing me to the word "pranava"...i, too, bear this ringing, though for me it is a very high-pitched hum, much louder sometimes than others, hidden sometimes, and seems to respond to my focus by increasing at first and then diminishing if i pay too much attention to it, like right now. i have had it for about 25-30 years that i am "aware" of. Are we being "attuned?" It doesn't bother me...i accept and honor it for whatever it is. Why don't you move next door to me...two rings might make a right.

For you who hear this sound, you are most fortunate. Worry not, tinnitus you would well know the difference between.

Sound is one aspect; light is the other -- the Light and Sound, the Great Twin. In either instance, this is the Most High making itself known to you, no matter how it manifests or by what name one knows it -- as if of the winds, the chirping of crickets, the sound of a flute, or a deep, vibrant droning and rolling -- a blue star or globe; a twinkling, flickering spark of electric at once here now gone, or that of an amber lantern. It matters not. It is all one and the same. As well does it come by an unmistakable feeling, unlike all others, or by that subtle knowingness, each still others of its way of impressing.

Whether ones hears sound or sees light is determined by you, your history, inclination, and preference with It from epochs past. One can mitigate the sound, if it should be a little too impressive in you -- simply intend it to lessen, and It will. But in any case, whether it be light or sound, it is a signature of merit, high merit. None others will see what you see or hear what you hear. It is yours and yours alone.

Tinnitus - you need to see an ENT specialist

Although technically there is not too much they can do. You eventually do learn to live with it.

I had tinnitus for over 20 years. I have learned to ignore it so much that I simply dont hear it anymore. I think it may even have gone away.

I wonder about it too. It's usually like crickets in the distance and sometimes the tones get higher-pitched, almost like bells or sirens when I am working with my intuition.

It's never really bothered me though.

I think that you are exaggerating a little aren't you?

I have actually wondered the same thing.

    I hear it too.

On the bright side, you won't have to move to the countryside for peace and quiet; anywhere you go it'll be the same
